Yitong Deng Named to Dean's List at Colby College

Yitong Deng of Shenzhen, China, was named to the Dean's List at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2016-17 year. Deng is one of 417 Colby students -- or 23 percent of the student body -- to qualify for the Dean's List this semester.

Deng, a member of the Class of 2020, attended Shenzhen Middle School and is the son of Guogang Deng and Ruofang Du of Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Deng earned a semester grade point average of 3.77 or higher this spring to be included on Colby's highly selective Dean's List. He majored in computer science and music.
