Peter D. Barkey-Bircann of Henrico, Va., was named to the Dean's List at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for his outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2014-15 year. Barkey-Bircann, a member of the Class of 2018, is the son of Douglas Barkey and Ingrid Bircann-Barkey of Henrico, Va., and attended Douglas S. Freeman High School.

The Dean's List at Colby is highly selective, this spring reserved for students with a semester grade point average of 3.76 or higher.
