John V. Macdonald of West Hartford Named to Colby College Dean's List

John V. Macdonald, a first-year student at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, was named to the Dean's List for his outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2013-14 year. Macdonald is the son of Peter Macdonald and Kimberly Knox of West Hartford, Conn., and attended Loomis Chaffee School.

Students whose grade point averages were 3.68 or higher were named to the Dean's List.
