John L. Freeman of Colby College Named to Highly Selective Dean's List

John L. Freeman of Presque Isle, Maine, was recently named to the highly selective Dean's List at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2017-18 academic year. Freeman is one of 469 Colby students -- or 24 percent of the qualified student body -- to qualify for the Dean's List last semester.

Freeman, a member of the Class of 2019, attended Presque Isle High School and is the son of Stephen Freeman and Jayne Farrin of Presque Isle, Maine. Freeman earned a semester grade point average of 3.77 or higher last fall to be included on Colby's highly selective Dean's List. He majored in economics-mathematics with a concentration in financial markets.
