Griffen I. Allen of Valdosta, Ga., was named to the Dean's List at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for his outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2014-15 year. Allen, a member of the Class of 2016, is the son of Ronald and Jennifer Allen of Valdosta, Ga., and attended Valwood School.

The Dean's List at Colby is highly selective, this fall reserved for students whose semester grade point averages were 3.68 or higher.
