Carly M. Thomas Named to Dean's List at Colby College

Carly M. Thomas of Lincolnshire, Ill., was named to the Dean's List at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2016-17 year. Thomas is one of 417 Colby students -- or 23 percent of the student body -- to qualify for the Dean's List this semester.

Thomas, a member of the Class of 2019, attended Lake Forest Academy and is the daughter of James and Nancy Thomas of Lincolnshire, Ill. Thomas earned a semester grade point average of 3.77 or higher this spring to be included on Colby's highly selective Dean's List. She majored in global studies and anthropology.
